GO! Sync Mapbook’s bread and butter is map viewing and inspections. Develop an automated patrol application.Create custom edit forms for inspections. With MIMS, you have access to several SDKs that enable your organization to customize and extend several aspects of MIMS Mobile, with professional services. You can now bundle your regulatory compliance inspections under one task, your detailed inspections in another, damage assessments under a third task, etc… Customization and Extensibility If you’ve configured that task to contain those inspections, they will be presented to the field worker automatically, increasing their efficiency in performing work. The days of having first to inspect a pole, then a transformer, then a cap bank are over. Tasks let you bundle commonly related inspections. Task Based WorkflowsĪnother distinguishing factor between GO! Sync Mapbook and MIMS Mobile is the concept of tasks. It’s a simple checkbox to turn this functionality on or off. We manage this whole process for you in the background, automatically. In this configuration, you utilize a 1-way feature service, but your data is pushed once to the field clients, and only changes synched via MIMS Gateway. In addition, if you have Gigabytes of facilities data and don’t want to put the strain of pushing all that data to your clients each time you update it on your network, you can utilize our packet-based synchronization technology. What this means is that the data going to and coming from your field workers can be visualized and displayed in an Esri Operations Dashboard, providing complete operational awareness of your field operations. With the MIMS Mobile, your inspection, redline, assignment and design data is served up utilizing 2-way incremental feature services, that you can publish to AGOL, a local Portal Instance, or just through ArcGIS Server, depending on your environment.
